Spiders are different than insects. Spiders have eight legs and they are not insects. Spiders are not insects because they are arachnids. They have eight jointed legs instead of six. There are over twenty four thousand species of spiders. Spiders have two body parts, not three like insects. They are cephalothorax and the abdomen. These are reasons that spiders are really cool.
